This was to fulfil what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

In the beginning some members of Stalham Baptist Church had got together to rehearse for a "Gospel Night" being organised by deacon, Diana Gordon. It seemed a waste to work so hard for a single night so we decided we would continue as a band once the concert was over.
So it was that the church got a very well received, concert which included a number of other performers, and we performed our first gig under the name "Out of Egypt".
